Ends

Sometimes, you hold hands only to let go. You meet the right people at the wrong time and every moment is a constant reminder that it wouldn’t last forever.

So, what’s the point of getting your hopes up that it’ll work out, only to be disappointed shortly after? why do we fall further in love, knowing that the fall would never end? It’s scary and momentary, but I think love is worth the chances, right?

Some things are meant to end. Rain, songs, and some love stories. Ends are scary, painful, confusing, and leave you wondering what you could have done right.

They make you want to never let your guards down again but then you remember what their laugh sounded like, how they looked at you and smiled and you feel grateful that it happened at all.

Sometimes, it really is the journey that counts, even though there was no destination, to begin with.

Some stories have no particular beginning or end, only what exists in the middle. But, it really isn’t anybody’s fault. Sometimes, the universe just isn’t ready, the stars don’t align and people leave mid-way.

But this is to let you know that voids are meant to be filled. You opened up your palms to let go and someday, someone will hold onto you and you would know.

The universe would be ready, stars would align and it would be okay.
